1. What we collect
- Account information: name, email address, password (encrypted).
- Business information you provide: website URL, social media links, service descriptions.
- Payment information: processed directly by Stripe — we do not store your full card details ourselves.
- Usage data: how you interact with the Service, for the purpose of improving it.
- If you are an affiliate: your referral link and which accounts signed up through it, and what you have earned. To pay you, Stripe additionally collects identity and banking details directly from you — which may include government identification and a tax number. That is collected and held by Stripe, not by us; we receive only an account reference and whether they have verified you.
2. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Service, including generating your customer description, audits, and action plans.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- If you are an affiliate, to credit your referrals, work out what you are owed, and send it to you.
- To send you service-related communications (account confirmations, payment notices, password resets).
- To improve the Service over time.
3. AI processing
Your business information is processed using AI models (including third-party AI providers) to generate your analysis. We do not sell your business data to third parties.
4. Data retention
We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active, and for 12 months after account closure, after which it is deleted, unless a longer period is required by law.
5. Data sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Highsight, each bound by their own confidentiality and data protection obligations. We do not sell your personal information. Those providers are:
- Stripe — payment processing and invoices, and, for affiliates, identity verification and payouts through Stripe Connect.
- Supabase — database, authentication and hosting.
- SendGrid (Twilio) — sending transactional email.
- Anthropic — the AI processing behind your analysis.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the address below.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption of sensitive information. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
